electric conjurer

you sound....
rising strings seduced into
a quiver of nerve and tendon

you ignite....
flames of ruby fingers
which slide inside the hungering frets
of slippery muses
digging pulling pulsing
an impossible lust of music
from dancing rainstick bones

engulfed they tremble and quicken
for more of what you play

you sound....
it swells the twisting sea
into lunar-breasted forms
who crush their fierce tides
against eclipses of entangled
sonic bodies
profanely sacred
pressing their pearl-glossed mouths
against your storm of resounding

And from the torrent of music
that ebbs from you
they rise and come
burning thunder-rhythms in oceanfoam
pulling back waves of silken and illumed skin
as they cry out
their flesh to be played by you

there is a vitality, a life-force, a quickening
that is translated through you into action
and because there is only one of you in all time
this expression is unique

if you block it
it will never exist through any other medium
and be lost

the world will not have it

it is not your business to determine
how good it is
nor how valuable it is
nor how it compares with other expressions
it is your business to keep it yours
clearly and directly
to keep the channel open

you do not even have to believe in yourself
or your work
you have to keep open and aware
directly
to the urges that motivate you

keep the channel open

no artist is pleased
there is no satisfaction whatever
at any time
there is only a queer divine dissatisfaction
a blessed unrest
which keeps us marching

and makes us more alive than most

Being authentic and real in one's presence and approach toward sharing skills, abilities and resources with others, so that offering Service and Product emphasizes an honest and integral relationship to oneself, others and the local living economy/ community.

Alternative to the one-sided "promotion"of a"business"(busy-ness??).

"Is-ness" honours and empowers what is alive in us NOW and integrates the feminine, yin principle of "BEING" in what is traditionally a masculine, yang "DOING" model of achievement and success. "Is-ness" supports wholistic balance in all our chosen professions.

The refreshing wisdom which sings out of the mouths of children is so often a pure, unadulterated and refreshing expression of open senses. The innocent charm of a big-hearted insight from them can imbue your day with a special kind of softness and magic. I am blessed to be around children alot, and dedicate this wee space to the magical, humourous and divine words spoken by little people.

"Amaya I saw a bee today. I made for it a celebration."
-Anise (3 yrs. old)

"Ohmygod....it's....it's...an ant with WINGS! It has wings! We should call the newspaper or something!"
-Melila (6 years old)

"That's a new dada keputch."
(a three year old referring to a 1.5 litre size bottle of ketchup)

S. came running into the room to 'tell' on her sister. She blurted out:
"Amaya, Amaya! My sister was picking her nose and then she fed it to our dog and Ming really liked it Eeeeeeeeeew!"

A 6 year old proclaims aloud:
" I LOVE farting!!!!"

"The bus is my favourite car!"
