Teachings from an Andean Shaman: Chamalu

"Always be grateful. Embody tenderness at the worst times. Your battlefield is where you find yourself. Your school is life. Your instructors are the problems that arise. Everything is an opportunity to keep growing. Fortify your body. Train yourself to feel comfortable in the most diverse circumstances. Find refuge periodically in the Earth, or in the forests. When energizing yourself, do not be demanding; share through your presence, sing often, dance everywhere. If others think you are crazy, confirm their suspicions; that way they will leave you alone once and for all. Forgive Freely. Share. Happiness multiplies when you share. Love everything you do, enjoy life continuously, take intense pleasure in living. Wanderers are in love with a fulfilled life, and they are faithful to it."
